Family First FCU is changing check printers to make things a little more affordable for our members. Effective April 6th, we will be using “Checks For Less” as our new printer for member checks. A package of 150 duplicate checks will cost just $12.19, compared to our previous vendor who has been charging $13.43 to $32.09 for a package of only 120 checks (or about 8 cents per check versus 11 to 26 cents per check).
You must make your initial check order with “Checks For Less” through the credit union office (by mail or by phone) and then you will be able to order online. You will still need to order through the credit union if you have a name or address change or if you don’t know the starting number for your check order. You may have to change the style of your checks, since “Checks For Less” has fewer styles than our previous printer, but we believe the cost savings is worth the inconvenience.
